EXCLUSIVE: A day in the life of ...
... At the end of day one, we find ourselves 20% into this amazing trip - and, as a special treat for those of you out there reading (yes, both of you!), we've decided to give you a bit of insight into how a typical day goes.
OK, firstly we meet in the lobby of the Hotel Washington at 7:45am to talk tactics and timetable for the day ...

We then hop into taxis or hit the pavement, walking the streets of DC to our first destination ...

Sometimes, when waiting for proceedings to start, we'll get restless!

Each day, we'll go to 4-5 different places - you know, people you can really look up to ...

For example, apart from the Washington Post reporters today, we had important engagements at the Republican National Congress (Ken Mehlman), Chevron, and Supreme Court (Sandra Day O'Connor) - thanks to Steve for featuring in these photos at those locations ...

We'll then walk around to our next engagement ...

... and finally, we'll finish off with a drink at the bar!
